Terms of Service

Last updated: July 12, 2026

01Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Skipper API and related websites operated by Skipper Labs, Inc. (“Skipper Labs”, “we”, “us”). By requesting an API key or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

02The service

The Skipper API provides Korean stock market data — including prices, financial statements, disclosures, investor flows, and derived analytics — over a REST interface. Data is compiled from public and licensed sources, including the Korea Exchange (KRX) and the DART regulatory filing system, and is generally updated on an end-of-day cadence.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Displaying data within your own applications, research, and internal analysis — with reasonable attribution — is permitted under your plan.

05Market data disclaimer

The service provides information, not investment advice. Nothing in the API or on this site constitutes a recommendation, solicitation, or offer to buy or sell any security. Data may contain errors, gaps, or delays; translations and SEC-style form mappings of Korean disclosures are provided for convenience and the original Korean filings remain authoritative. You are solely responsible for investment decisions made using the service.

06Fees and plans

Paid plans, quotas, and pricing are described in your order or agreement with us. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or expressly agreed in writing. We may change pricing with reasonable prior notice, effective at your next renewal.

07Intellectual property

The service — including its software, documentation, data compilations, and derived analytics — is owned by Skipper Labs or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your plan. No other rights are granted.

08Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, add, or retire endpoints; material breaking changes will be announced in advance where practicable. Service-level commitments, if any, are set out in your plan agreement.

09Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Sections 05, 07, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

11Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKIPPER LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING TRADING LOSSES, LOST PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA — ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. EACH PARTY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
